A small sandbox of self-made tools, growing one agent at a time.
SlowAcorn is a solo, independent project (slowacornbiz@gmail.com), built as a place to design, ship, and actually use small AI-powered ideas end to end — from data pipeline to interface — rather than let them stay half-finished notes. Each tool starts from a genuinely useful or curious question ("what would my voice look like as a font?", "which ETFs quietly overlap in holdings?", "is this ache worth seeing a doctor about?") and gets built into something anyone can try in a browser, free, with no account required.
The name is literal: growth here is slow and incremental, one small "acorn" of an idea at a time, rather than one big launch.

Every tool is built and maintained by one person, usually end-to-end in a single sitting: server logic, data sourcing, and the interface you're looking at. Data-driven tools (ETF DNA, Trender, EducateMe, NewsToday) pull from public sources — official ETF/exchange data, Google Trends, Wikipedia, and mainstream news RSS feeds — and are refreshed on a schedule rather than faked or hand-written.
Nothing here requires a login. Voice-based tools (Voice2Font, MyColor) process your recording in memory and delete it immediately after generating your result — see the Privacy Policy for details.
Feedback, bug reports, or "you should build X next" ideas are always welcome: slowacornbiz@gmail.com.
